The In&motion APS-1 airbag protects skiers’ vital zones (neck, back, thorax, and abdomen) using technology based on embedded algorithms. The detection system is housed within an electronic unit, the In&box, inserted into the core of the airbag vest. It measures the skier’s position in real-time, performing 1,000 analyses per second. When a fall is detected, the algorithm triggers the airbag inflation, deploying it in less than 60 milliseconds.

In 2026, In&motion is outfitting top-level athletes from over 10 different nations, competing in both Alpine Skiing and Ski Cross.
