How the airbag protects you

A technology that detects a fall and triggers the airbag in under 60 milliseconds.

The In&box, integrated into the gear, is the brain of the system. With 1,000 analyses per second, it measures all of the user's movements and commands the airbag to trigger when a fall is detected.

The airbag detects the fall and inflates in 60 milliseconds, 30 of them for inflation to optimal pressure, protecting the user from impacts.

Our technology is constantly evolving: the algorithms are continuously refined by our team of data scientists. These improvements draw on data reported by users from real fall and usage situations.

Our airbag modules

Each system includes an airbag module made up of an airbag cushion, one or more inflators (gas generators) and a holder for the In&box. To ensure optimal protection, some airbags also include a back protector or other additional protection. Several modules are available to best suit the requirements of each activity.

Our detection modes

Usage differs between motorcycling on a track (Track mode), on the road (Street mode) and off-road (Adventure modes), horse riding, cycling and e-scooter riding, so it is essential to adapt to each activity to ensure optimal protection in falls and accidents. In&motion has therefore developed several detection modes suited to each activity and its intensity level.

What is the In&box?

The In&box contains all of the system's sensors and algorithms. With 1,000 analyses per second, the user's position is continuously measured, allowing the system to detect and anticipate falls.
